Bioinformatics is the science of managing and analyzing biological data using advanced computing techniques. However, bioinformatics is not a simple combination of biology and informatics. There are many other disciplines needed to solve problems with bioinformatics.

This database was constructed to integrate and host research products of LCBB members, and is largely composed of three parts. It contains information of lab members, publication list, other constructed databases. It will be constantly updated as new achievements produced.

Software
Technologies for extracting information from biological data, database construction and software development for data analysis can be utilized to solve various biological problems including disease. Furthermore, these technologies can be used in the field of public health beyond the creation of new knowledge–based information.
